Welcome to the Tufts Women's Rugby Wiki!
The Tufts Rugby Club exists to provide students with an opportunity to learn an exciting, physical, fast-paced, and unique game. We encourage anyone with an athletic background to give rugby a try. EXPERIENCE IS NOT NECESSARY. Come on out and learn the game. We're happy to teach you.
We are part of the New England Rubgy Football Union (
NERFU) and play teams around the New England area. Our fall season consists of 5-6 games and the potential for more during playoffs. Home games are played on the field farthest away from Cousens gym. Games are often on Saturday mornings and practices are held Monday through Thursday on the field behind South Hall. A typical practice runs from 4:30 to 6:30pm. In order to play in the games on Saturday, you are required to attend at least two practices.
